The long awaited KEMEN summit took place in Atlanta (and was over by evening June 29th 2019,) where members from all over United States celebrated their one year of KEMEN existence.Speaker, after speaker, gave diversified views on ways and means on how to empower and improve the lives of all men in the Diaspora.
It was a rare special occasion where a diverse group of visionary Diaspora leaders chosen from business, Mentorship, Financial guidance, Religious , Literacy, Motivation, Immigration experts, Education, Health, Wellness and many others gave speeches on their areas of expertise. These are men who clearly understand that change and effective progress are only possible with a good vision, that can impact and bring about total change to all in the Diaspora.
KEMEN is a Diaspora movement of men that are looked upon as men of impact in all fields, and what was witnessed in Atlanta, was a clear indication that this noble movement is a force to reckon with.
KEMEN aims at empowering men to believe in themselves and equip them with tools of knowledge through workshops and conferences, to enable them attain the grandest height possible.
Men empowerment is the core to sustainable development, wellness, stability, and progressive societies anywhere in the world and as such KEMEN are on track.
KEMEN needs all men to work together to pursue a sustainable path that leads to economic growth of the communities that they reside in here in America and still, extend the same even further to our motherland.
While doing so, they are aware that there are many challenges in order to fully be the custodian of social justice, economic, health, education, wellness and even political stewardship.
Those that attended the meeting had a lot to gain and one David Ogenga of Diaspora forum, described the Chairman of KEMEN as a great man who deserves a lot of respect.
According to him, the workshop was productive and a way of making great connections.
It was here that he met the owners of a successful land buying company called CRETUM that has helped many Kenyans in the Diaspora to acquire properties.
The meeting even bore fruits further as he will start a project for a Diaspora community with their help through Diaspora Capital Group.It was here that he met Michael Karuu Vice Chaiman, UBRICA and Mr. Ndegwa of Mykenyalink, Eng Peter Gioko of Gioko Taxes, among many other key speakers, KEMEN award winners and attendants from across the States.
At the end of the summit the charming KEMEN Chairman Mr. Kamnao had no befitting words to thank all the speakers who lighted the occasion with their presentations, and he would have wished if the same could have gone on for another extra day.
